It's taken the gaming world by storm, and now the Pokemon Go craze has extended to fingernails.
With more and more people gripped by the game, nail bars in the US and the UK have started hearing customer requests for Pokemon-inspired manuicures.

So nail technicians have answered the call, creatingcolourful characters and pokeballs as nail art, and gaming fans are posting DIY pokemon nails on Instagram.

The colourful designs include rosy-cheeked Pikachu's and pink Jigglypuffs, as well as red and white pokeballs.

Following its release earlier this month, the augmented reality game has been in the headlines for everything from its servers crashing due to its intense popularity, to the game's creators collecting data from players.
Most recently, some have claimed the game has improved their mental health, by prompting them to exercise outside, and sparking conversations with other Pokemon Go players.
