Plans in the works for new Fat Freddy's record

It took Fat Freddy's Drop four or five years to release their first proper album but hopes are high that their second album won't take as long. Hey, don't laugh.

In August when the band get back from their annual tour to Europe - playing the Sonar Festival in Spain, the Brixton Academy in London and other gigs - they plan to record.

"We're gonna disappear from the mainland and retreat to the underground to record the second Freddy's album,"says band leader, Fitchie (aka Mu).

The band play in Wellington on May 19 and 20 at the San Francisco Bath House in Cuba St before heading overseas.
