An Auckland TV production company will shoot a $1 million-plus, 75-episode children's television series in Dunedin, starting in July.
Managing director of the Pickled Possum production company, Mary Phillips, has been in the South Island recruiting a production crew for the TVNZ show, which will be based in one of Natural History New Zealand's studios.
The Go Show will be made for a pre-school audience and run seven days a week with a 30-minute programme each day.
Phillips said, "It's come full circle - back to the same studio Play School came out of."
