Photos of Moss drinking champagne dampen pregnancy rumours

Rumours of her pregnancy to rocker Pete Doherty spread like wild fire this week but photos of Kate Moss swigging champers at Tuesday night's Moet & Chandon Fashion Tribute have quickly dampened them again.

Reports surfaced on Sunday last week when Doherty's uncle Phil Michels told British tabloid the Sunday Mirror the couple were expecting a baby.

"I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant", Michels told the newspaper.

"They are both delighted and Pete sounded really excited."

However, Tuesday night's snaps of Moss in a figure-hugging gold satin gown, swilling champagne from a bottle, lead to suggestions it is unlikely the supermodel is expecting.

Meanwhile, reports of the couple's engagement are gaining substance as the 32-year-old mother-of-one was spotted wearing a hefty diamond ring on her engagement finger during a recent shopping excursion.
