Television presenter Petra Bagust will be MC at an appeal concert in Auckland tomorrow night, exactly a month after the Boxing Day tsunami which killed more than 220,000 people in Asia.
All proceeds from the Aotea Centre concert will go towards Oxfam's Tsunami Emergency Appeal.
Mayor Dick Hubbard hopes Aucklanders will add to the relief effort while enjoying popular classics performed by the "very skilled musicians" of the Auckland Philharmonia and the Royal New Zealand Navy Band.
Tickets cost $54 for adults and $39 for senior citizens and students.
