British model Penny Lancaster has swapped her usual place in front of the camera for a spot behind it to snap celebrities and their pets.

She has been taking the pictures for a charity calendar, her first assignment since the birth of her son Alastair. The Pet Pawtraits calendar, for the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals, features Sir Elton John, Simon Cowell, Lulu, and Lancaster's rocker fiance Rod Stewart. Most of the celebrities were photographed by Lancaster in their own homes.
