You've got to hand it to New Zealand singer/songwriter, Greg Johnson, he's a tough and committed campaigner.
Johnson, who is now living in Los Angeles, has been playing his music and plugging away in the United States for nearly five years and that's about to pay off - he's signed a two-album deal with Baria Records, a new independent label.
Johnson said in November that he was just waiting for the right label to come along because he wanted to retain control of publishing rights and publicity.
Baria will release his last album Here Comes the Caviar in the US on June 6. It was released here in 2004.
Johnson's next studio album is expected to come out here in mid-July.
