A paramedic has issued a plea to all parents to stick a notice on the back of their child's car seat, saying it could one day save their life.
Taking to social media, the paramedic said he all too often will attend a call-out where a child has been left in a car and they don't have any information on the young person.
But leaving a simple note with details including their name, date of birth, and health issues, parental contacts and whether they can speak or not could save them from death.
"Way too often we come upon a car wreck with child(ren) in the car who are too young to have any info and parents are unconscious."
If your toddler or child has a medical condition, there is no way ambulance workers on the scene will know their background.
