Britain's Panto star Julian Clary proved the show must go on by performing in a wheelchair after injuring his foot.
The comedian, who is starring in Cinderella at the Liverpool Empire theatre, chipped a bone in his right foot after falling over on stage.
Despite the pain he carried on with the performance and was taken to hospital after the show where an X-ray revealed the extent of his injury.
But Clary refused to let the injured foot stop him and returned to the stage the next night in a wheelchair. He said he was in "absolute agony" but had never missed a show in his life.
