In a major workout for her acting chops, Pamela Anderson will star in a sitcom about a woman who's trying to change her life and break her habit of falling for less-than-responsible men.
Before even reading a completed script, the Fox network committed to six episodes of the project from writer-producer Steven Levitan, who created NBC's "Just Shoot Me."
Anderson, a former "Baywatch" babe, has become as well known for her headline-generating personal life during the past few years as she has for her acting work in such features as "Scary Movie 3" and the 1998-2002 syndicated drama "V.I.P."
Levitan also created and executive produced the offbeat Fox comedy "Greg the Bunny," and was an executive producer on Fox's family comedy "Oliver Beene."
