Paltrow fails to turn up to Festival

Gwyneth Paltrow failed to show up at the Venice Film Festival after her plane was returned to New York.

Speaking via cellphone at a news conference for her movie Proof, Paltrow said she had an "extraordinarily unpleasant evening", trying, and ultimately failing, to get to the city in time.
