Buckingham Palace tweeted a photograph of a young Kate Middleton yesterday to mark the now Duchess of Cambridge's 34th birthday.
"Wishing the Duchess of Cambridge a very happy birthday," the caption read on @BritishMonarchy, the official Twitter feed for Buckingham Palace about the work and activities of the Queen and Royal Family.
Details of how the mother-of-two spent her birthday have not been revealed. She was born in Reading, England on 9 January 1982 to Carole and Michael Middleton.
The tweet was followed by a message from @KensingtonRoyal, the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace for the Duchess along with Prince William and Prince Harry.
