Pain Killer: Hell War (Xbox)

Pros: Good premise in a man denied entry to heaven after being killed in a crash. Huge range of opponents and decent weapons. Good multiplayer options.

Cons: You soon realise that each new level will bring more of the same constant strafing to dispatch legions of soulless creatures. Graphics jaded.

Verdict: A mildly interesting first-person shooter in the vein of Doom, the aim nothing more than shooting thousands of the devil's minions. Similar to the Keanu Reeves dud Constantine, but less pretentious.
