For some, the Oscars are less about who takes home a gold statuette, and more about what they wore. Life & Style Editor Nicky Park has dissected the red carpet and offers her score card on the best and worst dressed.
Best: It was hard to handpick just a few winners this year, but these top four most certainly made our A-class.
Image 1 of 4: Lupita Nyong'o in custom made Prada - In this dreamy, powder blue princess gown, Lupita signs off on a perfect red carpet season. The gold hardwear gives the girlie look an edge.
Worst: We don't like naming and shaming, but our hands were tied (and come on, everyone loves a worst dressed list). So, herewith those that didn't make the grade.
Image 1 of 4: Liza Minnelli - We love colourful Liza, but this is a hot mess. Satin, cobalt blue, signature off-the-shoulder pant-outfit, complete with matching electric blue streak, it's like she wore all her favourite things at once.

Jury's Out: Only one man in the world could pull off a tuxedo short, and that's the skinny, inked up pins owned by Pharrell. This is a controversial choice for a formal event like the Oscars, but we think that the musician is working it. Be warned gents, this does not mean you should cut off your suit pants and expose your hairy legs in the office.
