Celebrated British actor Pete Postlethwaite is to travel to New Zealand to appear in the one-man play, Scaramouche Jones.
Postlethwaite, nominated for an Oscar for the movie In the Name of the Father, is also known for his roles in Brassed Off and The Usual Suspects, and played the lead in the Bafta-nominated television series The Sins.
Scaramouche Jones, written by Justin Butcher, is the tale of a gypsy clown's odyssey over 100 years, including the Holocaust.
It opens at the St James Theatre in Wellington from July 23, and Sky City Theatre from July 30.
