Day two of NZ Fashion Week begins this morning with a double presentation from labels Wellington-based Twenty-seven Names and Aucklander Ingrid Starnes.
Both are great young labels who I have been enjoying watch evolve each season, and it will be interesting to see how they sit together in a show. Expect a cute strawberry print and embellishment from Twenty-seven Names, and hounds-tooth from Starnes.
Twenty-seven Names have simultaneously released campaign images and a video online, so those who can't make the show can see the collection.
Also on today: the New Generation group show, Deryn Schmidt, Andrea Moore, Riddle Me This and an evening extravaganza from Trelise Cooper.
Kagi jewellery designer Kat Gee will be the first jewellery show to present at NZFW, with her show - and we hear it will be a proper, full-on 'show', with singers, dancers and a narrator - later this evening.
