A New Zealand woman received a marriage proposal on a national television advertisement this morning - and accepted.
She said she was overwhelmed with all the media attention but "very happy".
Her boyfriend, businessman Todd Fuller, had booked a $2000 advertisement on TV One to pop the question.
On the advertisement, which ran at 8.55am, Mr Fuller stood before a national television audience and asked his girlfriend to marry him. He is now drinking champagne with her in celebration.
Friends and family featured on the short recorded clip, giving advice to Mr Fuller's girlfriend - including Mr Fuller's parents saying "we would love to be your in-laws".
A beaming Mr Fuller then jumped on screen and asked: "Will you marry me?"
The answer was yes, said Mr Fuller, an Auckland advertising sales manager for APN newspapers.
He said he was "just trying to do something no-one else had done before".
