Another talented New Zealander will have the chance to win the break of a lifetime when the second series of NZ Idol returns to our tv screens shortly.
The show's producers have started the search for the person with the talent and star quality to become New Zealand's next Idol.
Application forms are available on the programme's website and from BP service stations nationwide from today.
Heats will be held in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in June.
"NZ Idol was a huge success for TV2 last year and an exciting and complex local production to be involved with. It made stars out of Ben (Lummis) and Michael (Murphy), whose careers are taking off," said Tony Holden, TVNZ's General Manager of Commissioning and Production.
"We know there is a huge pool of talent out there and now they know about Idol there are going to be thousands wanting to audition."
