New Zealand-born Martin Campbell will direct the next James Bond movie. Mr Campbell directed GoldenEye in 1995, and has been signed to direct Casino Royale next year.
Casino Royale was first made in 1967, featuring David Niven as 'Sir James'. 37 year-old blond British actor Daniel Craig has been signed to play Bond.
Producer Barbara Broccoli is said to have passed on re-signing Pierce Brosnan. She wanted fresh blood, with the plot of Casino Royale returning to the start of the spy's career, and therefore requiring a younger actor.
