No-drugs Doherty

Pete Doherty has vowed in a television interview to stay away from crack and heroin after dodging a prison term for possession of illegal drugs.

Doherty blamed his rock'n'roll lifestyle for contributing to his problem. Doherty said he was "not that much of a junkie anyway" and when asked what the future held, he replied: "Start the drug-free life that I'm looking forward to."
