Nip/Tuck takes Golden Globe for TV drama

"Nip/Tuck" won the Golden Globe Award for best US television drama, while Annette Bening won best actress in a film comedy playing a stage diva in "Being Julia."

Bening had been favored to win the Golden Globe playing an actress in a mid-career lull, who is threatened by a starlet and romancing a younger man. Onstage she also thanked co-stars and her family, including husband Warren Beatty.

Spanish film "The Sea Inside," about a quadriplegic's legal battle to take his own life, was named the best foreign language film.
