After nine-year-old Lego lover Sam Orsler watched the Rugby World Cup final with his All Blacks mad dad yesterday, the pair decided to combine forces - recreating game highlights using the Danish blocks and figurines.
The pupil of St Thomas Moore School in Mt Maunganui curated top moments from the heart stopping game - including Ben Smith receiving a yellow card, the haka, Dan Carter's drop goal and Ma'a Nonu's try.
"Sam loves to build anything out of Lego," Sam's dad Brett Orsler said.
"We visited the Skytower in the last school holidays and he built it when we got home."
He said his son used his imagination to come up with scenes to re-create and went from there.
