Nik favourite for NZ Idol

The NZ Idol judges have selected their final 24.

Nik is Centrebet's NZ Idol betting favourite after the judges selected the top 24 contestants.

Online bookmaker Centrebet is offering odds of 7-2 that Nik becomes the NZ Idol champion.

"Nik made quite an impression during the auditions, particularly on New Zealand's female population, which is never a bad thing for an Idol finalist," said Centrebet's Gerard Daffy.
