One can never accuse Steve Dunstan, the driving force behind Huffer for not thinking big. Indeed, it is his kind of vision and belief in not settling for the status quo which has driven his business to survive for over 20 years in a tough industry. To celebrate reaching this milestone, the Huffer brand is putting on the show-of-all-fashion shows tonight at the Spark Arena. Their aim: to have over 1500 people attend and for it to be the biggest fashion show ever to be part of New Zealand Fashion Week.
Top models and influencers who have been part of the brand's 20-year history will feature in the 40-strong line-up, and walk a 60m runway. Viva fashion editor Dan Ahwa is working with the Huffer team to style the show; along with hair maestro and friend of the brand Richard Kavanagh who will shape the hair look for the show with some surprising hairdos to match the collection.
To ensure the night - which also signals the end of the trade part of New Zealand Fashion Week - really goes off, there will be a musical showcase with top local DJs.
