Cross-stitching has made a comeback as the coolest new craft to try - only this time skin is the canvas.
Cross-stitch tattoos by Turkish tattoo artist Eva Krbdk are quickly gaining momentum all over the world. Although she isn't the first to use the technique, Krdbk has become a viral sensation by sharing all her ink - cross-stiched or otherwise - on Instagram.
By drawing tiny lines of different colours in 'x' shapes, artists like Krdbk are able to create an image that appears to have been stitched onto the skin.
In a series of cross-formed lines, she is able to shade and contour without ever filling in the design with block colour.
