Whatcha doing for New Year's? You'd better get your skates on if you're planning on going to Gisborne's annual music festival Rhythm & Vines.
Organisers say 2000 people have already snapped up tickets, (10,000 people attended last year ) and the large volume of visitors to rhythmandvines.co.nz has caused problems.
Why so early? Because six acts have already been confirmed: Spektrum (Britain) and Kiwis Shapeshifter, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Kora, Katchafire and DJ Dick Johnson.
More acts are expected to be announced closer to the event, held at Waiohika Estate.
