New Idea wins rights to Brangelina babe

New Idea magazine has won the exclusive national picture rights to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's new daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, after Australia's richest photo bidding war.

Just as Pitt's former wife Jennifer Aniston left Australia, New Idea secured the family photo album over rivals Woman's Day and Who.

Reports said the magazine paid more than A$700,000 ($838,625) for the "one-time-use-only" photographs. But editor-in-chief Robyn Foyster said the payment was nowhere near that figure.
