TVNZ is starting the 2006 season of its magazine programme Good Morning by bringing in a double-act to host the show.
Television reporter Sarah Bradley and former Tall Black and radio host Brendon Pongia will be the new faces on the mid-morning show, which starts again on February 13.
The pair are taking over from Jaquie Hudson who hosted the show last year, but quit because of travel constraints, TV One publicist Melanya Burrows said.
Good Morning producer Sally-Anne Kerr said they were "thrilled" to have Bradley and Pongia take over.
"They have a terrific chemistry together on screen, and are both intelligent, entertaining people, who complement each other. Their different backgrounds mean they can offer us different perspectives on the topics we cover and the people we meet."
Bradley said it was a "terrific opportunity" to get some compelling stories from New Zealanders "and to be involved in a show that will bring viewers interviews and features across a wide range of topics, that are sometimes hard-hitting, sometimes funny, but always entertaining and informative."
Pongia said he was welcoming the opportunity to join the Good Morning team.
"It's a real change from what I've done before. I'm really looking forward to working with Sarah -- we are both 'people' people -- and we really hit it off when we first met.
"Once we begin working together and get to know each other better, I think we will bring something new, different and very special to the show."
