The Naked Samoans, best known for bro'Town and Sione's Wedding, are going back to where it all began - the stage. The comedy troupe's fifth stage show, Naked Samoans Go Home (Again), which premiered three years ago at the Auckland Festival, will be resurrected at the Auckland Town Hall from December 12 to 17.
The play stars David Fane, Maria Gaoa, Oscar Kightley, Shimpal Lelisi, Jerome Leota and Robbie Magasiva.
The story begins with a band of orphaned brothers in Samoa and progresses to a group of Mangere road workers when Sione (Magasiva) decides to move to New Zealand to try out for the Ponsonby Rugby Club. Bookings from Ticketek.
