Okay, so it is the Super 12 final and okay, maybe the Highlanders won't get another home final this century but what's wrong with watching it on TV?

"Watching it on TV!!"

Mum just about has kittens when I suggest that. And this week I don't want her any more upset than she is already.I'll tell you why.

She had a bust up with her boyfriend, Jeff, and I think it's serious. I haven't seen him for over a week and I don't think he's phoned either which is unusual.

Don't ask me what it was all about. No-one tells me anything. It was one of those weird adult fights where there's no winner and you don't even know it's a proper fight until the last round.

Jeff picked us up on Sunday afternoon as usual but soon as he got in the car I knew there was something wrong. I know something about body language, see.
