A certified meteorologist in Minnesota celebrated International Babywearing Week by doing just that, and wearing her child while she reported the weather forecast.
Susie Martin wore her one-year-old son to work as director of operations and on-air weather person for Praedictix on October 5, with the goal of raising awareness about baby-wearing to other parents in mind, according to the Daily Mail.
"I wanted to promote this wonderful tool that's helped me as a mom and the bonding experience between mother and son,' Martin told Good Morning America.
"I suppose it's a way for the baby to be comforted. It was nice for me personally because I could multitask while comforting my child."
A video of her son's on-air appearance was first shared by Praedictix on its Facebook page, where it has amassed over 1.4 million views to date.
At the start of the video, Martin is standing square to camera, so the viewer can't immediately tell her baby boy is on her back, nestled in a swaddle that perfectly blends with the color of her skirt.
That is, unless you're an incredibly observant viewer and noticed the little legs framing her body, with shoeless feet in black-and-red-striped socks.
Martin then introduces herself at the top of her national, coast-to-coast weather forecast, before letting those who didn't already notice her little guy in on the fact that she'd be joined by a co-host.
"It is International Baby Wearing week so I thought I'd bring out my handy assistant today," she said, as she turns to the side and reveals her bundle of joy.
"He's gonna help walk us through the forecast."
Martin then dives right in to business as usual, showing her audience snowy scenes in Utah and the rest of the notable weather, around the country.
Praedictix had a sweet sense of humour about the addition to the day's show, writing in the caption of the video:
"Meteorologist Susie Martin and a special guest host your national forecast today. Unfortunately, her assistant was found sleeping on the job... We apologise for the inconvenience."
International Babywearing Week is an annual outreach event sponsored by Babywearing International, which first started in 2008.
"It is a week-long opportunity to celebrate, promote, advocate for, and focus media attention on the many benefits of babywearing," according to Babywearing International's website dedicated to the event.
The outreach event's mission is "to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support."
The 2018 dates spanned from October 1 through October 9, according to the group's Facebook page.
Dates do not appear to have been set yet for 2019.
