Monster House (PS2)

Pros: The animation is nice and its easy to learn the controls. Despite the name, there's nothing to give the kids nightmares.

Cons: Bland and repetitive. Far too straightforward even for youngsters. The water pistol fights fail to get the pulse racing.

Verdict: Better than the awful Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but not a patch on Lemony Snicket: A Series of Unfortunate Events.
