NIP/TUCK
It's been a while since the season two finale when the show was left hanging with Christian at the mercy of the psychopathic Carver, who was about to exact revenge for Christian and Sean doing cosmetic surgery on his mutilated victims.
Series three begins with Sean finding Christian dead in his apartment, followed by much weeping at his funeral but, aw, it's just a dream that Christian's been having since the attack.
While Christian recovers, Sean is struggling to keep the plastic surgery practice running, and is going through divorce proceedings with Julia. Their son Matt starts to explore his sexuality.
Christian might be scarred physically and emotionally after his encounter with the Carver but he is soon back on the job in more ways than one, helping Sean to cut an obese woman from her couch and somehow getting a threesome going in the strangest of circumstances.
