SYDNEY- She may be a glamorous beauty queen, but Sophie Lavers will still get up in the morning and eat peanut butter on toast for breakfast.
Ms Lavers, 24, from Canberra, was crowned Miss World Australia at a ceremony in Sydney, beating 19 other hopefuls.
The beauties were judged in
categories including Best Talent, Healthy Body Image and Sports and Fitness.
When Ms Lavers was announced the winner, she grinned, accepted a large bouquet of roses and sat on a giant red throne.
The sparkly tiara was a little too big for her head and she mouthed to the crowd: "My crown doesn't fit".
She will represent Australia at the Miss World contest in Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 12.
