Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has sold her New York apartment just months after she was forced to move out in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
The brunette beauty, who is married to British actor Orlando Bloom, fled her Manhattan home in October when the devastating superstorm left the building without power while Kerr was in town preparing for the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show.
The property was on the market at the time Sandy hit, and the supermodel has now succeeded in selling.
The loft-style home, which Kerr originally bought in 2006, was put up for sale at a price of $US1.3 million ($NZ1.5 million) and is now under offer, with the sale expected to be finalised in the coming weeks, according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.
Kerr reportedly still owns a smaller apartment in the same building, which was used as a residence for the nanny hired to look after her young son, Flynn.
