Miranda Kerr reveals reason for Victoria's Secret no-show

Miranda Kerr says scheduling conflicts will prevent her from taking part in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show this year.

The Australian supermodel said she won't be walking in the glittery lingerie show in December because she's too busy and can't be in two places at once.

"They asked me to walk in the show, and I really wanted to, but I have to be in Asia that week," Kerr told Fashionista.com.

Aside from her 2010 hiatus when she was pregnant with son Flynn, it's the first time the model has been left out of the show since being announced as the first Australian Victoria's Secret angel in 2007.

"It's interesting to know that it will be the first year that I'm not there," she said.

Earlier in 2013, reports suggested Kerr had been dumped by the lingerie stable.

However, the rumours led Victoria's Secret president Ed Razek to publicly deny the model's dumping. He said Kerr had agreed to a personal invitation to walk the runway in this year's fashion show.

Kerr said she was sad not to be taking part this year.

"When I spoke to Ed, he was like, `I'm really upset that you can't be here!' but I've got another contract and commitment at the same time.

"I can't be in two places at the same time, you know."
