Heather Mills McCartney cancelled a public appearance at a vegetarian conference because she did not want to be asked about the collapse of her marriage.

She was due to speak at the launch of a campaign against school milk. At the last minute she took the decision to remain in Slovenia, where she is staying with friends. Instead, she sent a letter in support of the White Lies campaign.
