Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle will do "absolutely fine" with the Royal Family, Mike Tindall has said as he admits the experience of dating royalty is "nerve-wracking".
Tindall, the ex-England rugby player and husband of Zara Phillips, said the actress' experience in the public eye would help her adjust.

Markle, star of US drama Suits, is understood to currently be on holiday with Prince Harry in Africa, in a trip which has inspired much speculation about whether an engagement might be imminent.
Tindall, father of the Queen's great-granddaughter Mia, told the Sunday People: "It comes with a lot of history and the family that it is. It's obviously nerve-racking.
"But she has been under enough scrutiny and pressure in her day-to-day life so I'm sure she will get through it. She will be fine.
"As long as they are both happy that's all that you can ask for. I'm sure she'll do absolutely fine."

But, Tindall said, he is "obviously" a big fan of Suits, the Netflix drama which Markle is due to leave later this year.
"It's a very good show," he said, speaking at the 2017 Farmfoods British Par 3 golf championship at Nailcote Hall, Warwickshire. "I will definitely try and get the inside scoop on it."
Prince Harry's relationship with Markle was confirmed in November 2016, when Kensington Palace issued an extraordinary statement criticising the extent and nature of interest in the actress.

"Prince Harry is worried about Markle's safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her," his communications secretary said.
"It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Markle should be subjected to such a storm.
"He knows commentators will say this is 'the price she has to pay' and that 'this is all part of the game'.
"He strongly disagrees. This is not a game - it is her life and his."
