Pros: Great use of the DS dual screens with the bottom one acting as both radar and a motion pad for controlling your movements, leaving the top screen uncluttered. Good atmospheric scenery gives Metroid the creepiness of Doom. Wi-fi multiplayer action supported.
Cons: Single-player levels get repetitive. Holding the DS eventually cramps your hands on tough missions and adjusting screen sensitivity can be fiddly.
Verdict: A compelling sci-fi adventure that adds substance to the DS when it comes to first-person shooters.
