A Sydney woman dubbed "Mercedes Mum" after leading police on a high-speed chase at speeds of up to 200km/h while a young child sat in the car without a seatbelt is pleading for money online to fund her famously lavish lifestyle.
Margarita Tomovska shot to notoriety after she showed up to court over the alleged pursuit in her $260,000 Mercedes Benz wearing Gucci sunglasses worth $1725 and a skimpy Balmain dress costing about $2400.
The 27-year-old splashes her expensive shopping jaunts and casino visits on Instagram, but the mother says constant police attention has hindered her employment prospects, news.com.au reports.
So she did what any bereaved young woman in Valentino heels worth $1499 would do, set up a GoFundMe page.
Tomovska named the donation campaign "fight raptor" in honour of the New South Wales Police strike force that focuses on policing bikies and related criminal conduct.
