Meghan, 36, has been credited in causing the spike in people wanting freckles, as she is known for not wanting to hide them.
Previously, people would undergo cosmetic surgery in order to remove their freckles.
Cass said she was delighted with the results of the treatment, explaining: "At first, they are prominent, but after a few weeks they are absolutely perfect.
"My advice for anyone thinking of getting this done is to do a test on your arm first to check you like it and pick a colour suited to your skin colour."
She explained how she wanted to be one of the first to try the new trend of having freckles tattooed onto the face.
"I wanted to be the subject for something new and exciting with microblading freckles,"she said.
In fact, Cass says she has liked the procedure so much that she has had it done twice.
Explaining the popularity of the treatment, Jaclyn - who is the owner of Deviant Beauty Co - said: "Freckles are one of those things, a lot of people who have them hate them, and those of us who weren't lucky enough to be born with them really want them.
"Tattooed freckles first started trending two years or so ago and they seem to keep getting more popular.
"I currently charge 199 Canadian dollars for a full face of freckles, on the cheeks and nose.
"The entire procedure takes about twenty minutes, unless the client wants numbing and then it takes an additional twenty minutes to numb the area."
Explaining how it works, Jaclyn said: "As a lover of freckles, I wanted to see if I could create something that looked more natural than those done with a machine.
"I use the tip of a curved microblade which I find gives the most natural results. Machine work is too uniform, and I find they look more like little dots rather than the natural look of freckles."
She added: "Generally, they last between two to three years as they'll fade out.
"But for some they can be very permanent, so it's important to make sure you're set on them before having them tattooed on."
Jaclyn says she will discuss with the client what shade to use for the freckles ahead of the procedure.
"We pick a colour that suits their natural hair colour and skin tone," she explained.
