A commuter has posted a picture of a dog that puts itself on the bus every day and travels to the dog park.
The picture of the lone black dog, known as Eclipse, was posted to Reddit with the caption: "Every day she leaves her house by herself, and takes the bus downtown to the dog park. She even has her own bus pass attached to her collar".
Eclipse, the black lab mastiff mix, is somewhat of a celebrity in Queen Anne, Seattle. She first came to fame in 2015 when word got out that she was travelling on the bus alone to get to the dog park.
Two years ago, Eclipse and her owner Jeff Young were waiting for the bus but when it arrived, Young was still finishing his cigarette. His dog jumped on the bus without him, leaving him to catch another bus 10 minutes later, according to Today.com. To his surprise, when he got off at their usual stop by the dog park, Eclipse was there waiting for him.
Since then, Eclipse has been given her own bus pass and makes the journey to the dog park alone, most days. She has also become so well-known that commuters will ask the driver where she is if they don't see her on the bus.
