A host of celebrities turned out to watch Ewan McGregor sing and dance in the West End musical Guys and Dolls - and gave him a standing ovation.
McGregor's Star Wars co-star Natalie Portman was at the Piccadilly Theatre to watch the Scottish actor play Sky Masterson.
McGregor danced and sang in Moulin Rouge but this is his first stage singing role, and his first stage appearance in six years.
Actresses Barbara Windsor and Joan Collins, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and TV host Graham Norton were among the audience.
McGregor said after the show: "The first night can sometimes be a bit uptight but tonight was fantastic."
