McCartney to appear on soap

Heather Mills McCartney, wife of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, is to become a soap star.

The 37-year-old campaigner will appear on the US daytime show Days of Our Lives to promote her Adopt-A-Landmine charity. She will play herself, counselling a soldier who has lost a limb.
