A 47-year-old man fractured his penis during vigorous sex with his partner, a new medical report reveals.
The patient, who remains anonymous, claims he did not notice any symptoms until 12 hours later - despite it normally leaving most in agony.
Despite being aware of the "snapping sensation", he was able to continue with intercourse and maintained his erection, the MailOnline reported.
When the British man's penis and scrotum became bruised he became concerned and went to A&E. He also had blood in his urine which was painful to pass.
Dr Richard Viney, a consultant urological surgeon at The Bladder Clinic, Birmingham, told MailOnline that "sexual gymnasts" are most at risk of penile fractures.
