Judging by the impressive display at the Swarovski Crystal Palace today we can assume that the dark days are almost over.
After a hiatus last year, the crystal giant is back teaming up with some of the industry's most innovative designers to create some of the most magical lighting imaginable.
The installation today was something almost other worldly, and if there is such a thing as the pearly gates awaiting those of us who have been good in life - then designer Tokujin Yoshioka has given us a preview of what to expect with his incredible crystal lighting installation. Seeing displays like these in the flesh make coming to Milan so worthwhile.
The lighting theme continued in the Zona Tortona area with a presentation from New Zealand's most successful international designer David Trubridge, whose new Wing light was attracting the crowds.
