Madonna went back to where it all began with a free one-off gig for fans.
The star launched new album Confessions On A Dance Floor at London's Koko Club. The intimate venue - formerly known as the Camden Palace - was where Madonna gave her first live British performance in June 1983.
Madonna performed five songs for an audience of 1500, including 200 who had queued overnight in freezing temperatures for the last free tickets.
