MacLaine going strong at 72

Shirley MacLaine, aged 72, is marking a half century in Hollywood with appearances in three films: Bewitched, Rumour Has It and In Her Shoes.

After working with Nicole Kidman in Bewitched, she said : "The older you get, the more invisible you become. When walking into parties I would go first, and everyone would say, 'Great to see you.'

Then Nicole would come in and I might as well have been the woodwork."
