Lucas reveal plans for Star Wars series

Star Wars creator George Lucas has revealed his plans for two television series based on his blockbuster movies.

They included a live-action show featuring some of the minor Star Wars characters. Lucas plans to direct the first series himself.

The other show will be a 3-D animated series.

Lucas made the announcement at a Star Wars convention in Indiana that was attended by more than 30,000 science-fiction fans from around the world.
