Lord of the Rings NZ release date changed

The first instalment in the movie trilogy The Lord Of The Rings will now be released in cinemas around New Zealand on December 19, 2001.

The launch date for The Fellowship Of The Ring in New Zealand was originally set for December 26, but it has been changed to coincide with the US opening.

New images from movie trilogy were released via a second theatrical trailer to cinemas last week.

The trailer, which debuted on cinema screens in New Zealand on Thursday 7 June, can also be viewed online at www.lordoftherings.net.
